Dover Athletic boosted their chances of making the Blue Square Bet South play-offs by winning 2-0 at against Farnborough on Wednesday night.
In front of a crowd of 402, Dover got off to a great start when they went ahead after just 2 minutes when defender Ian Simpemba headed in George Purcell`s free-kick.
And it got even better for the visiting Whites when, on the half-hour mark, Billy Bricknell made it 2-0 with another header from a Donovan Simmonds` cross.
Boro had more of the play in the second 45 minutes without threatening Dover`s goal, and the three points very much keeps the Kent side in the hunt for a top five finish as they possess a game in hand on most of the other contenders and face third-bottom Staines Town at Crabble this coming Saturday.
